We know changing the world requires more than good intentions. As an organisation, Neways delights in taking an active role in changing people’s lives by embracing our role as a good corporate citizen and offering tangible support to the community. Indeed, we consider being able to help others, through good times and bad, a unique privilege.
However, it’s something we couldn’t achieve on the scale that we do without the tireless support of our Members.
Not only have our Members enabled Neways to grow and prosper enabling our collective contributions to many worthwhile and deserving causes, many Members also give generously to causes globally of their own initiative.
From the Corporate team, and on the behalf of the countless beneficiaries of their generosity around the world, we extend our truly heartfelt thanks and admiration.
Neways actively supports more than 20 Australian charitable organisations annually including:
- Starlight Foundation
- Doctors Without Borders
- Flinders Medical Centre
- RSPCA
- Surf Lifesaving Foundation
- Blind Sporting Council
- Epilepsy Association of SA & NT
- Drug Arm
Depending on the specific need of the organisation, Neways offers support through cash donations or the provision of actual product. We are regularly humbled by the many stories we receive telling us of people directly benefitting from the receipt of our unique and safety-conscious products.
In recent years, Neways have embraced an initiative that has twin benefits. We’ve replaced our traditional seasonal greeting card to Members and suppliers with an e-card – the money saved is donated directly to charity and the paper and energy saved definitely helps the planet.
Various charities have benefitted from this initiative and in 2010 Neways donated the $1,500 saved directly to the on-going nationwide work of The Australian Red Cross.
